Beth Jacaruso brings 24+ years of experience to VDC in the areas of research, content sourcing/evaluation, information management, analysis, and executive-level operations.
A hallmark of her career has been a consistent record of focus on strategic intent and establishing frameworks to realize difficult objectives as they relate to data management issues.
- Harte-Hanks — While a senior leader in Harte Hanks’ Data Services practice area, Beth led a systematic evaluation of data production processes, yielding several improvements and efficiencies in the delivery of data-intensive direct marketing solutions to clients.
- OneSource — Beth led the content development division of OneSource Information Services, Inc., an infoGroup company. She had responsibility for the evaluation and integration of global content sources, which determined the content used to populate the OneSource product line.
- Arthur D. Little — Beth set strategic information and research policy through the design and development of a global virtual network of staff and resources for Arthur D. Little, Inc. She developed company and industry information products that established brand presence across the firm, and she was integral in the design and execution of a company-wide knowledge management system.
Beth has presented at numerous industry events, including the Special Libraries Association, eContent Buying and Selling Conference, and Online Information UK. She is well versed in a myriad of information research tools and has authored industry articles on the topic of data quality. Beth has been a frequent lecturer at Simmons College (Graduate School of Library and Information Science) in courses on Business Information Sources and Services.She was elected to Beta Phi Mu, the International Library and Information Science Honor Society. Beth earned an MS (Library & Information Science) from Simmons College and a BA (History) from Saint Anselm College.
