Matt Staudt, President  & COO of The Venture Development Center, Inc. (VDC) a leader in the growing field of Big Data for targeted marketing,  offered insights on Big Opportunities within Big Data at the Annual EFI Worldwide Users Conference

January 21, 2014 – EFI™, a world leader in customer-focused digital printing innovation, had a sellout crowd for EFI Connect 2014 Users Conference, with every one of its attendee slots filled during event pre-registration. The January 21-24 conference was the largest in Connect’s history, with approximately 1,500 pre-registered attendees. The larger number of registrations – one-third more than Connect 2013 – reflects increased customer interest in high-level business and technical training offered at one of the graphic arts industry’s most successful user group events.

Matt Staudt, President & COO of VDC was asked to speak during the event’s Business Optimization breakout session focused on big data and how this burgeoning new set of data holds interesting marketing opportunities for the printing industry. As part of his session, Matt was joined by NAPL President and Chief Executive Officer Joseph P. Truncale, Ph.D.
