January 29, 2014 – The Software & Information Industry Association’s (SIIA) annual Information Industry Summit (IIS) features two days of programming geared toward Business Information CEOs, COOs, presidents and division heads of global and mid-sized business information, publishing and media companies; managing partners from top private equity firms; and CEOs of emerging companies transforming the business information industry. A few of the topics that will be covered at the Summit will include:

January 16, 2014 – The Jordan Edminston Group, the leading independent investment bank for media, technology and marketing services, hosted its 10th annual Media & Technology Conference with 300 senior-level industry executives from across the media, marketing and technology sectors participating. It was the largest attendance in the event’s history.

The conference featured an impressive roster of dynamic, world-class speakers who shared their views and insights on the continuing impact that technology is having on the media and marketing industries. January 21, 2014 – EFI™, a world leader in customer-focused digital printing innovation, had a sellout crowd for EFI Connect 2014 Users Conference, with every one of its attendee slots filled during event pre-registration. The January 21-24 conference was the largest in Connect’s history, with approximately 1,500 pre-registered attendees. The larger number of registrations – one-third more than Connect 2013 – reflects increased customer interest in high-level business and technical training offered at one of the graphic arts industry’s most successful user group events.

Matt Staudt, President & COO of VDC was asked to speak during the event’s Business Optimization breakout session focused on big data and how this burgeoning new set of data holds interesting marketing opportunities for the printing industry. As part of his session, Matt was joined by NAPL President and Chief Executive Officer Joseph P. Truncale, Ph.D.
